What about CBD? So many people in my life circle have said to try it. Some say it takes the edge of more so than pain medication. Some say they have been able to gainfully seek employment and don't have to worry about the repercussions for weed in their system it doesn't show up.

Medical marijuana works extremely well for me. Pennsylvania has made it legal to use, and I have a beautiful, clean, well-staffed dispensary 5 miles from my front door.
I've had intractable MS pain in my behind since 2012. I suffered with it from 2012 until March, 2020 (this year!) when my pain doctors from Univ. of Pennsylvania hooked me up with a prescription. And there you have it. Think about that,...I couldn't sit down anywhere - movies, restaurants, etc.
So, I'm not sure what your state says about Med. Marijuana, but my state, so far, has made it possible for me to live without suffering or narcotics.

Those of you using medical marijuana, do you have preferred way of using it - ie: smoking, eating, drinking, etc....
I've tried the gummies and cant stand the taste but I'm not super keen on smoking it so I am trying to figure out what may work best for me. I have extreme arthritis in my spine and the Dr. has me using hydrocodone but I would like to go a more natural route.

I have lived with Chronic back pain most of my adult life. Due to being beat on for 12 yrs. I've had 13 surgeries from my lower back, hip, neck. I have so much medal in me its ridiculous. I also have a stimulator in my back which is worthless. I use ice packs an Peppermint oil. Have had 4 bad falls recently. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ❣

Hi everyone,
How are you doing?
We just recently published an article about essential oils and their risks and benefits to our health: What are the health benefits and risks of essential oils?
What do you think? Have you ever used essential oils? If so, what do you use them for? How have they helped you? If not, is it something you'd be interested in trying? Why or why not?
Feel free to discuss here!
Take care
Courtney

Hi everyone,
How are you today?
Patients living with chronic pain are often confronted with challenges that make daily life demanding both physically and emotionally.
Did you know that alternative medicines exist and can be used as a complement to traditional medications (meditation, hypnosis, acupuncture, essential oils, CBD, etc)?
What have you put in place in your daily life to reduce your chronic pain?
Feel free to share and exchange comments below!
Have a wonderful day,
Courtney
