@Coverbey32 I can completely relate to that. I spent days laying on ice packs to relieve some of the pain. I can't say that it works but at least I felt like I was doing something. My doctor put me on a new medicine to try to help but it's affecting me mentally in a way that I don't know if I can live with and it doesn't seem to be helping with the pain as much as I would like. It seems like everything I do comes at a cost a trade-off so to speak. I have had the pain where it feels like somebody stabbing you with something that has been put in a fire and I guess the only thing I can recommend for that has to be the Lyrica but the trade-off for that is gaining weight and sleepiness. I find that in my flare-ups nothing can touch the pain though and I get to a point of hopelessness. I wanted to come on here and talk to someone who understands that 2 and you seem to be the first person. I probably have not been dealing with this as long as you have. Mine hit me February 5th of 2018 when I got up and I could not walk. I have not been fully diagnosed and therefore I am not receiving the treatments that I need.

@Bandit I understand what you mean about standing and walking. When I was in my 20's I had back surgery which did help a lot but did nothing to helps with the pain when standing or walking. Can you please keep me posted because if I out live the Dr. estimate of how long I will live I might try pulmonary rehab..

My symptoms have taught me to be more forgiving in my life. It also has taught me that some people have it worse than I do. I’m trying to figure out how to live a better life.

My symptoms have come to show me that there are a lot of people a lot worse than i am. Yes they are a pain but i try not and dwell on them. I find that exercise of some kind every day helps me a lot

@Lee__R If I could I'd get rid of my rosacea. It's really tough having something that affects my face, because your face is what gets seen by people first. I guess it's taught me to love myself. Sometimes my rosacea makes people turn their heads to look at me, and I try to look at it as something that has made me unique and special. I wouldn't say that I "like" my rosacea, but I've come to accept it as part of me, and I wouldn't want to chance me!

If I could get rid of having to use catheters pads and adult pull-ups that would make me very happy. Also have enough strength to walk without a walker or cane. Because they have trashed my shoulders and I have so much pain in my shoulders and upper back it makes my life miserable with the pain every day and night!

I would LOVE to get rid of my lupus eruptions. They're ugly and painful. Sometimes I get them on or near my face and it's really hard to go out in public like that.
