Hi Somya. Thanks for starting this question. Measles, am I afraid of it?? Not me, personally, as I've been vaccinated. Worried about it in general, yes!! Reason being, what is next pandemic on horizon?? Could be measles. I'm also concerned about RSV. I'm 58, & can't get vaccine till I'm 60. No one really Knows for sure what's next ailment's coming. We can guess at best. Vaccines Do help!

Hello again Somya and thank you again for including me. I am 71 years old, turning 72 soon. I had all of the childhood vaccinations in the 1950s, including the MMR vaccines. Even with these vaccinations and illnesses, I contracted measles three times in my early life. The last time was when I was 18 years old. I assume with all of that, I probably have some sort of immunity to this virus. I am concerned about my grandchildren and great grandchildren after this COVID fiasco and all of the gain of function nonsense. People experimenting with biological weapons and releasing them upon the population is the real threat. Expecting that your government will help you is another.

For the people worrying about the "anti-vax people", if Vaccines worked, you have nothing to worry about.

With more and more people being anti-vax these days, yes, I am worried about this. It can be dangerous.

Hello everyone, how are you doing today? 😊
A measles outbreak in Texas and New Mexico has left nearly 100 people ill, mostly unvaccinated children. Measles is highly contagious and can lead to serious complications, especially in young children and pregnant women. Most cases are in unvaccinated persons or those with unknown vaccination status. Officials warn that the real number may be higher due to underreporting.
🔹 Why does this matter?
What do you think? Are you worried about measles making a comeback in the U.S.?
What do you think about vaccine exemptions in schools?
If you have kids, do you keep up with their vaccinations? Why or why not?
