I have lower back pail so far nothing has helped me. They are trying to help me with two shots to find which nerves they need to burn so they don't work anymore. I go for the second one on 9/3 then they will know which ones to do.

Thank you again Courtney for including me in these discussions.
I have several chronic conditions which I see various doctors for. The chronic pain is only an issue with two of those; Arthritis throughout the spine with bulging discs, and the Neuropathy in the legs and feet. I don't include the COPD/Emphysema/Asthma associated lung and chest pain since that is more of an irritant than chronic pains. The good thing for me is that these conditions started off low level and have increased in intensity over the years, so they are mostly tolerable. The bad is that my Cardiologist and Nephrologist won't let me take most pain meds other than simple Tylenol. My Neurologist and pain management doctors prescribed the generic Lyrica (Pregabalin) which have helped somewhat with the Neurology, but increased the fluid retention (Edema) in the legs and Lymphedema. The injections and ablations in the spine for the arthritis and disc pain in the spine only last a few weeks if that. If/when the pain becomes too intense I sneak a 600 MG Motrin if necessary. Mostly I move slowly and try not to do anything physical which may exacerbate the spinal issues. I also gave up the nightly glasses of Vodka years ago since it was not recommended to drink while on so many prescription meds.
At over 70 years in age, the well-being and daily life currently are just moving slowly and missing out on the exertion and exercises that the TV Commercials show older people engaged in. But for me, the grandchildren and great-grandchildren do not live close by so my visits with them are over the telephone and computer which do not stress out this old body.
Thank you again,
Gordon

I honestly, attempt to rest enough but I have a very bad habit. I am a perfectionist and an overachiever. That is what causes my pain, and I repeat the behavior because I do not know my limits.
