No. My parents cured me of that when i was a teenager. Tending to their garden. I never enjoyed it.

I used to enjoy it with my wife many years ago. Now I don't get around too well and usually only go out for errands, the market, pharmacy or doctor appointments. But thank you for thinking of me, Somya and including me in another discussion.

My favorite thing to do is spending time outside working on my flower garden. The feel of the soil, the warmth of the sun, planting seeds and watching my iris, tulips etc blooming.

Hi everyone, how are you doing today? π¬
Whether itβs tending to a backyard vegetable patch, growing herbs on a windowsill, or simply caring for a few potted plants, gardening can be a small act of joy that brings peace, purpose, and connection to something bigger.
A recent study from the University of Edinburgh found that older adults who spent time gardening had better thinking skills later in life. From memory to problem-solving, gardening seems to gently exercise the mind as much as the body. But beyond the science, many say it simply makes them feel good, less stressed, more optimistic, more connected to nature.
πΏ So, letβs dig into this together:
Do you garden indoors or outdoors?
What do you enjoy growing? Flowers, veggies, herbs, houseplants?
How does gardening make you feel?
Any tips or lessons you've learned in the soil?
