I love these ideas, especially #3. That is so important. If you can avoid situations that may cause you stress, it definitely lowers the chance of having an asthma episode.
What I also do, just in general life, is try to outline my day and week with a things to do list be it for work or life. This way it helps me worry about random things and make sure I address the important tasks timely.

I also try to organize my day and plant it out; However, the thing I do most, and find it helps the most, is to step outside and either go for a walk or just sit on the porch and enjoy the sun and weather.

Not to sound cliche but yoga is really great for relieving stress and there have been studies that prove that yoga can improve asthma symptoms!

It is well known that asthma can be triggered by stress and unfortunately, sooner or later, we all find ourselves engulfed with some form of stress. The key is to be well prepared for stressful situations, and to manage them accordingly.
Here are 3 ways to help manage stress, and I encourage other members to comment on how they manage stress to avoid an asthma attack.
1) Change Your Way of Thinking: What you think, how you think, and what you expect of yourself and others can often play a role in how you feel and thus, can play a role in managing your stress.
2) Reduce Your Stressors: Identify the major stressors in your life, be it work, relationship problems, money, deadlines, etc. and come up with a plan to attack and manage those stressors to ultimately reduce stress. Remember, if it is difficult to manage the stressors on your own to seek out professional support.
3) Avoid Situations that may Spark an Increase in Stress: Sometimes such situations are unavoidable, but by practicing time-management, setting priorities (ie: things to do list), and taking time out for yourself, such stressful situations can be more manageable.
