Recognizing and managing a mental health crisis is absolutely critical to keeping the situation from escalating. Signs like extreme confusion, overwhelming fear, thoughts of self-harm, withdrawal from reality, or intense agitation can indicate the need for urgent support. Observing behaviors and using calm communication are key steps in assessing the situation and providing the right kind of help.
