@Hazelio I used to try to do work too when I was in chemo. It brings back almost fond memories! 😂
@missshe I just went "au natural" when I lost my hair. I've never been a hat person and I found wigs too itchy. For me it was also kind of a way to embrace what I was going through. Stay strong!

@Hazelio Ooh you've convinced me! I'm going to look around and see if there are any organizations in my area!

Oops I just saw this! I cannot recommend a wig enough! I got mine from Headcovers unlimited and it made me feel so much better about myself. It was a bit pricey because I wanted one that didn't look too synthetic, but I know TLC has some lovely ones that are more affordable. And they're run by the American Cancer Society, so the money goes to a good place (I hope).

Hi everyone, it's been a while since I've been on. But I'm going through chemo again and my hair has started falling out. I'm trying to process the whole thing again mentally, since hair is so important to our female identity, but that's another conversation.
I guess I wanted to ask, what do you all do to cover it? Do you cover it at all? I'm thinking that now summer is coming I should probably wear hats or something to protect from the sun. But I thought maybe it could be fun to accessorize? What do you all prefer? Hats? Wigs? Scarves? Turbans? Nothing?
I'm open to any and all suggestions!
