Well I should point out that you should give yourself some credit for coming on here and seeking help, or just someone to listen to you so that maybe it'll make you feel better. People without depression don't understand or don't think young people should have depression because "you haven't lived" but the fact is anything can cause depression from young age to adults. If you need to talk, I'll be a listening ear. I'm no therapist but I will listen.

@gothskullz I understand, I'm the eldest for 3 kids. And my dad not knowing it compares the 3 of us too. It's hard but make it all white noise. Parents always have their kids high up on a pedestal that seems to high or too much of us to reach. They will say something like "I just want the best for you" and while that's true, sometimes it's damaging. Set your own goals, make it clear on what you wish to accomplish and do. They will not agree with everything you want to do with you life but IT IS YOUR LIFE not theirs. So for me I had to learn to make everyone opinions and unwanted advice, white noise.

@gothskullz as for school, I remember being so stressed out about not graduating and I was a 3.4 grade point average kid! I wish I could say it'll get easier but truth is school is stressful. BUT I promise if you do your class work, and at least try to study when you do get the smallest motivation, you'll be fine. You don't need to be the smartest to pass. Some are book smart and some are not. Find your passion and hobby while in school to give you a release. Something that will make school more fun. Or find something that will take your mind off school so when you do go it's not overwhelming. I did dance, and sleep lol.
