Hello @xxmyye, thank you for opening this discussion. I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling your best! Let me tag some other members who can possibly share with you!
Hi everyone, how are you doing?
For those of you who may not be familiar with the term, Uthoff's phenomenon (also called Uthoff's syndrome or Uthoff's sign), refers to the worsening of neurologic symptoms in MS when the body is overheated.
Symptoms typically include pain, fatigue, urinary urgency, dizziness, difficulty concentrating, muscle stiffness, and worsening of existing optic neuropathy. It can be triggered by exercise, hot weather, fever, menstruation, sun tanning, saunas, hot tubs, hot baths, or showers.
Have you ever experienced Uthoff's phenomenon? What triggered it? How long did it last? What kind of symptoms did you experience?

So, I got COVID. I don't have it anymore but it's mad my MS worse. My neuro says it triggered a relapse, he says it was either my immune system going haywire and degrading my condition because of the virus, or that the fever alone caused by COVID triggered Uhthoff's phenomenon.
Has anyone also been through this? I wasn't familiar with Uthoff's phenomenon before... Has anyone been through it? Are there any after effects?
