Liver Cancer Survivor-5 years 55 years with diagnosed NALFD/NASH

What an exciting and terrifying story I have around this NEWLY talked about subject. I will say I have the finest medical specialists available in my area. I had my only liver biopsy in 2002 and they said I had Cirrhosis stage 3-4, NASH Severe at stage 3-4 early 4 late 3. I also had Hepatitis C for 35 years before treatment cured me in 2015.
I also have every other condition connected with having NASH so long undiagnosed for decades because there wasn’t a focus on it.
I got really bad pneumonia in 2011 and the ER doctor put me on the new cancer ward at my hospital and this wonderful doctor Chet Hammel asked to adopt me and manage my liver conditions . He was very interested in the NASH research and I was able to get a NASHfibrosure blood test if a biopsy is not an option. I understand ALL THE RESULTS and scales that LABCORP uses.
My joy is in supporting people who like me don’t want to die from Liver Cancer or Cirrhosis. I am living proof of what is possible with Dedication, Determination and the willingness to do the work. I have been working in the jails with Criminal Justice since 94 as a Chaplain until COVID shut the visits down. I currently work on a criminal forensics team providing medical/social support for people who are in extreme states of mental illness.
Three years ago I met my current acupuncturist who has been working to improve my liver health by direct needles and electrical therapy sessions twice weekly. We are trying to reduce the inflammation scores on paper and in my liver along with teaching me how to eat properly and how to meditate and do QiGong for body strength training. I also have a job I do on foot as I search for my clients in and out of buildings. I now understand that I work in a dangerous environment because I live with several dangerous conditions that are all terminal but manageable with my extreme drive to stay alive and my surrendered soul to Jesus Christ.
