How are you doing?
It sounds like you have tried a few different walking aids but it sounds like they are still a bit challenging. Let me see if any other Carneity members have experiences with canes or walkers.

I use a walker with a seat and basket. I too found that the cane hurts hands and wrists plus it also hurts my shoulders 😞 having RA is excruciating pain and I don't get much sleep due to pain.

Hi all, just got a walker mostly to use as a chair to rest on if I ever have to walk for a bit (like at a swap meet or etc). I tried a cane since only one knee is most of the problem which helped the knee but the pressure hurt the cane hand! Would love to hear stories / tips / thoughts on what a walker or similar does for someone with ra? Cheers
