I looked into this. It seems to have a following based on this; however, the medical community seems to caution its use for these matters. Would be interested to hear from other members, so I am bumping this discussion.
Have you ever tried baking soda?

I just started Xeljanz XR. Having stomach problems. Going to stop taking it. Just got 90 day supply. How can I dispose of it? Anyone know?

I am currently taking methotrexate and plaquinil once a day. Right now I am having issues with my ankle and inflammation, just won't heal and it's hard to be around people.

@Elisia1969
There are collection sites in most areas by the DEA that will take unused prescriptions or expired prescriptions. You can find one closest to you by this link DEA-registered collectors.
Here is more information by the FDA on proper disposal if there is no DEA-registered collector in your area.

I don't have much issue with my hands just yet. I have had RA and Lupus for lost 10 years. It's been so hard to deal with.

Enbrel for me has been a lifesaver in terms of slowing down the progressing of my condition - especially in the hands and feet. It felt like I was on a path of complete destruction, but luckily I finally got the diagnosis and started this medication, which has its side effects, but has stopped the progression of my condition - or at least drastically slowed it down.

My mom has finally found something that worked for her! She has had RA in her hands for a while now. She just tried CBD made from hemp about a month ago, and she says that it's helping more than anything has in the past. She is a very......by the book person, if you know what I mean, so it took her awhile to be ok with trying something like that (being associated with marijuana, etc). I told her that it is legal everywhere in the U.S. as long as it doesn't contain any THC, and she finally decided to give it a chance. She takes a 10 mg capsule twice a day, one in the morning and one in the evening.
If anyone is interested in where she got her capsules from, just send me a private message. Hope this helps someone!

I have RA & have been taking Humira injections, has anyone had any experience on it? I recently got really sick with a bad cold/flu & hadn't been sick like that since I was 20. I want to stop doing these injections with Humira.
I'm trying to eat healthy with blueberries, cherries, organic hot teas & turmeric & have cut out inflammatory foods.
would appreciate your thoughts

Hello. There are many levels of treatments for RA: NSAIDs, Steroids, DMARDs, and Biologic agents, and within each level, many different options.
Please share what type of treatment you have used and/or use?
Please discuss its success.
Any Side Effects?
Would you recommend this treatment?
I look forward to your responses.
