I take a CBD oil. Anything that has to be digested looses 50% of potency when it goes to your stomach. I love what I use. If you want info let me know. I swear, I would not be functioning without it

I take methotrexate injections once a week. I was on plaquenil but it wasnt doing much. The methotrexate makes me I'll but I do have nausea pills to take if necessary. I see a progression with my joints meaning, they hurt more and arent as easily usable. This is my 3 injection and I know it'll take time to see results. Its painful and it's tough but I'm trying to stay positive.

I have tried the CBD oil and it didn't help my symptoms. I also noticed that it affected my mind. It made me care less about everything including work, housework, hygiene, socializing. I took it for about 4 months to give it a chance.
I have also tried turmeric, fish oil, pre and pro biotics, healthy eating, etc... I went to a 20 day healthy lifestyle center in the Black Hills. We ate vegan and gluten free, and no sugar.
I will have to say that I lost weight, had more energy, caught the severe cold that was going around but got over it in 3 days so my immune system was good. But all these things did not stop the progression of my RA.

Silly Chick, CBD does not make you tired. What you described sounds like marijuana. If you take a pure brand like I do, it helps. CBD has 20-40% more anti inflammatory agents than Advil or other O’Hara pain relievers . Vitamins A, B’s, D and several omegas. You had some bad stuff.... anyway, it helps me immensely. Good luck and take care of yourself♥️

I'm having what I can only describe as Euphoria today. I started feeling really good on Thursday and today I'm just euphoric. This is my fourth week now of taking 5 pills of methotrexate and I think they must be helping. My joints feel a lot better and much of the pain is gone. I still have one hip that is inflamed but it is doing much much better. Do you think I'm euphoric as a side effect or just because I feel so good after feeling lousy for so long? Has anyone else experienced this?

@SillyChic It didn't happen to me, but I've heard from other people that methotrexate can cause mood changes when you're on it. Glad to know that it's positively affected your mood and not the reverse! That sense of relief when your meds start working is great!

My mom has RA and she tried Ayurveda (Ancient Indian medicines) to treat the condition. When she was suffering from joint pains and stiffness she was asked to follow iahas.com for herbal remedies to get relief from her suffering. She was surprised by the results and completely opted for herbal remedies and diet.

Hello. There are many levels of treatments for RA: NSAIDs, Steroids, DMARDs, and Biologic agents, and within each level, many different options.
Please share what type of treatment you have used and/or use?
Please discuss its success.
Any Side Effects?
Would you recommend this treatment?
I look forward to your responses.
