I wanted to ask if anyone struggling with diabetes has close relatives who suffer from it as well. I am the first person in my family to have this condition but I worry about my daughter. Is there a bigger chance she can develop it as well because of my history? Thank you
My mom was a T2, my sister was hypoglycemic, my daughter developed gestational diabetes with her latest pregnancy, one cousin was T1, and 3 cousins are T2 so far.
