Hi there! There is just a lot of controversy over it esp in the news lately and it is stated to have an opiate- like effect which is just not for me, Aside from the side effects it can give. I am a side effect queen and usually get them all so I try and avoid those kinds of medicines even if is all natural. Some side effects that are stated are the same as opioids from what I’ve read. People abuse/misuse it as it can be dangerous . What I have read is it states to produce sedation, pleasure, and decreased pain. The decreased pain part sounds great to me but not the rest. I got to an herbalist that sells kratom and he says he’s known of a lot of people that abuse it. Of course if your not and abuser than you would have no problems with it altgh I know how easy it is to become addicted also. This is just my personal feelings in kratom. I am not knocking anyone for how they handle there bodies.. Everyone should use what works for them :)
As far as the CBD- KOI is my favorite. It def helps with my muscle spasms and head shaking. Yes I still get pain and I use ibuprofen/Tylenol/ turmeric and I get cranial sacral therapy which amazing if u’ve never had it. I do acupuncture every week also. I also love rock tape around my neck! And biofreeze and rock sauce are my go too also! And some days the pain is really bad and when nothing helps I sleep..

Kratom is safe, but the more you know the better you can use it to utmost benefit. For example I use more green and red strains for pain until yesterday I used pure white strains and felt more energy and better mood. It just takes some experimenting. As for cod, it is expensive and quality oil is hard to find, but it does help with pain--nothing for spasms

Biggest side effect of Kratom is that it greatly reduces chronic pain. As for opiate effects, it is better than OxyContin, gabapentin and all the other Rx drugs we were lured into by pharmacy.
kratom is also used for alcohol and drug withdrawals and quite effective. I take 3 teaspoons in the morning and since it doesn't last all day I will take 3 more in the evening when the aching and stiffness in my neck threatens to overcome me.
yes some people abuse kratom as many abuse alcohol, and many over the counter drugs. I strongly advise you try it, it has made a huge difference. In my outlook on life.

I am not recommending this for all people, but Kratom receives some bad press and opinions that are not based on experience or are gathered by skimming emails on Kratom. But if it helps just one person who is suffering from CD then this will be worth it. The first time I tried it my wife asked me if I would continue to use it even it was not good for me. I told her I would continue to use it for a better quality of life and to avoid further bouts of depression.
Very happy this works for you and I am giving CBD a second look even it is quite expensive,I spend a certain amount of time looking for solutions or treatment methods for CD.

@Armor2 agree. The red just makes me too tire . I feel more from the green and white because I have more wnergey and mood is better. It does still help with the pain.

Hello,
has anyone had any success with CBD for muscle pain and spasm and twitches? If so, what dosage and brand? Is it vape, edible, or sublingual?
I have tried vaping, I think it was 15 mg, but did not notice any true effects, so I am worried that I did not either have the right dosage or did not buy the right brand, etc.
Thank you for reading and hope to find some help.
