@Pattyb2958gmail.com You might invest in a So Clean 2 - Not cheap but you don't have to clean your tubes, or machine anymore. uses ozone - Works great

I've had my machine almost 2 mths now and have yet to have a full night's sleep. I've started on my 2nd mask. They start out just fine but an hour to hour and a half it starts leaking or spewing out around my mouth area. Now the machine I got tells if it leaks or not and this stupid thing says I've not had leaks, neither night. But there isnt one night that these masks dont leak. Not just once a night its every couple of hours I'm trying to readjust it to not leak. I've had to start tightening it so tight that the indentions on my face stays around quite awhile. The lady that brought out my last mask thinks I'm lieing about it because the data doesn't show any leaks. Then she said it could be the pressure of the machine. When I done my test I stopped breathing 277 times. So the pressure has to be set high. There has to be a mask that fits me.

@Choctaw Depending on your CPAP you could probably use a DreamWear mask- fits under your nose - Do you mean it is elating from your open mouth? You need to keep your mouth closed You don't say what type of mask you use. Also your CPAP should have a ramp program - Ramp means the CPAP puts out less pressure for some minutes - and then adjusts it up to full pressure. What is your machine set up for Pressure wise ? Mine started out at 11 and the Dr upped it to 14 - got to be too much so he adjusted it down to 12.
The DreamWear mask fits under your nose - I had problems with other masks - before switching to this one - it works great. Invest in a SO CLEAN 2 machine for cleaning your tube and CPAP machine. It cleans with ozone and does't require that you take anything apart. It is not cheap - but it's worth it. Check out the DreamWear mask - and use the RAMP program -

My harness (that's what I call it) has to be put on so tight that straps stretch. I find my self using old strap velcro fastners to sow onto the straps lower down so I can keep the mask tight. It's a pain in my butt.
