@tator1999 Just a hint - ask your doctor if you might be a candidate for flexeril instead of sleeping pills.
My Rheumatologist (fibromyalgia) wanted me to try flexeril - he said the Ambien I had been taking every night fir the better part of 25 years was almost as bad as not sleeping.
Ambien knocks your brain out - flexeril relaxes your muscles.

Personally, the daytime fatigue is my biggest nemesis. Coffee's my BFF now! Got one of those fancy CPAP machines, and it's been a game-changer for me. Took a bit to get used to, but now I can't sleep without it. As for advice, find a good support system - friends, family, or online communities like this one.

What is it like living with sleep apnea? How does it affect you in the day-to-day? How to you handle it? Do you have any advice for someone who is newly diagnosed? Or how can the loved ones of someone with sleep apnea best support them? Feel free to share here!
