hi @seattlelife if it's not asthma or allergies, maybe you should go to a sleep clinic?

Hello everyone,
I finally decided to expose my case here in the hope that someone has the same symptoms and can help me. Thanks in advance.
For a year now, I have been having nightly breathing noises: crackling sounds like bubbles that explode when I breathe in but also (although a little less) when I breathe out. This often wakes me up during the night and I sleep very badly because of it. I have obviously seen many doctors (ENT, pneumologists, allergists).
They made me do tests of all kinds without ever finding anything in particular: no allergy, no asthma, no decrease in respiratory function, absolutely nothing! These noises have never been heard by any of these doctors since I have been in bed for some time. My wife hears them at night, so I am not dreaming....!!!
This is extremely disabling. I have already taken medication and even cortisone, without any result. I really can't take it anymore because I sleep very badly because of this. These noises happen when I am lying down or when I am in a half-lying position. They are much rarer when I am lying on my stomach. They are often accompanied by chest pains.
If anyone has any idea of what I may be suffering from, it would really help me!
