Hi @ColHenry,
Thank you so much for reaching out and sharing what you're going through. I'm so sorry to hear about this stress you're facing, but it's honestly amazing that you're looking for healthier ways to manage it instead of turning to smoking. And you're right, breathing exercises can be extremely effective for dealing with anxiety, and it's no doubt a great place to start.
Some of our members might have missed this discussion, so I’m tagging a few folks who might have some great suggestions:

In the meantime, I'd love to hear from everyone—what are some breathing exercises or techniques that have helped you manage anxiety? Do you have any simple routines that you practice at home? Are there any other activities or strategies that help you stay grounded during tough times?
Looking forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts. Your input could be very helpful!

Thanks for your detailed response. I was going through some blogs on health and fitness and I found an interesting thing. "For anxiety relief, practice diaphragmatic breathing: inhale deeply through the nose for 4 seconds, hold for 4, and exhale slowly through the mouth for 6-8 seconds. Focus on expanding the belly, not the chest. Repeat for several minutes to calm the nervous system and reduce stress." Will it work?

Hello Everyone,
I'm dealing with a lot of anxiety right now due to some recent business losses. I really want to avoid turning to smoking for relief, so I'm looking for alternative ways to manage this stress. I've heard that these breathing exercises can be helpful, but I'm not sure where to start.
Can anyone recommend the best exercises for reducing anxiety? I'm open to anything, whether it's something simple I can do at home or a more structured workout routine.
