Hello @JeniferSchwab, thank you for opening this discussion. I'm sorry to hear that your doctor and therapist didn't recognize you as a priority for the vaccine. It's really disappointing when someone, especially someone in the healthcare field, doesn't make you feel cared about. I'm sure it's not too late for you to get the vaccine if you're still interested in it. Let me tag some other members who can possibly share with you.
Hi everyone, how are you today? Did your doctor, therapist, or other professional you may be seeing encourage you to get the vaccine? Have or will you get it? For those of you that have gotten it, has it helped ease any anxieties or worries you'd had about COVID?

Hello! Yes I did receive my covid vaccine. I am a registered nurse and have an autoimmune disorder, so it was advised by my doctors that I should get the vaccine.

It did help ease my anxiety about either getting COVID or maybe having it and no symptoms and not knowing it and giving it to a loved one

I have received the vaccine/ I got the Moderna. I was fully vaccinated as of May. I had no side effects or issues with it.

I was advised by my cardiologist and primary Dr because I had a heart attack in 2017. On a personal level I was torn between getting it or not. Two reason, one the obvious with the health issue was I or could I be affected with or without the shot. The second was if I didn’t get it what would I have to endure to live my life based on what the government would force me to do. I did receive both shots about 2months ago and at this time no side effects but still suffer from anxiety from not knowing what was injected. I suggest you get it based on being a diabetic. This would hopefully relieve any fears or worries about contracting COVID-19.
Best of luck to you

What if you were supposed to get vacation but then no one says anything not even the Dr. Or therapist knowing you are a diabetic and were supposed to be one of the first people to get it but now you have trouble caring about yourself and then you feel they obviously don't care either.now I don't want it maybe I can stay inside and not have to see anyone
