@Lisa1963 Hello Lisa1963, thank you for opening this discussion. Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is a form of depression that is tied to the changing of the seasons and is more common than many of us think. Let me tag some other members who can maybe share their experiences with you.
Hi everyone, how are you doing? Have you ever experienced seasonal affective disorder or a general heightening of your depression during a specific time of year? Does it happen to you more often in the summer or winter months? What do you do to manage it?

I have suffered with severe anxiety disorder with depression my entire adult life. I have noticed a trend over the years where my anxiety is almost 100% worse in the summer time during hot weather and then almost completely vanishes in the fall when the weather starts to cool down. I have started to dread summertime because of this. Its cooling off now where I live...feeling very autumn like and on the first cool day it was like someone turned off my anxiety switch and I've felt so much better. Does anyone else out there feel this way? Whether it he hot or cold weather...does anyone else feel their anxiety and depression could be seasonal? Or is it just me?
