Not to say that there is or isn't an actual threat, I just thought that notion would be helpful to minimize symptoms of anxiety. For instance, if the threat that is causing anxiety has already passed and we should be leaning more toward acceptance, or if the threat is real and approaching it can be validating, or if the threat isn't actual a threat at all and its the result of over thinking. Could looking to identify a "Threat" as the source of anxiety be a good approach to reducing the pains or attacks caused by intense anxiety?
