Hey! I just joined the site today. I found out in the middle of August that I have T Cell LGL leukemia. Right along with rheumatoid arthritis and felty syndrome. Is there anybody out there that's similar to me? Rare LOL I wish everybody the best of health for 2023.

@JennyR83 wow sorry to hear this but glad they found it. I to am being tested. Spots on my lungs as well as enlarged lymphnodes thus they are looking at lymphoma possible. Had needle biopsy done last month it showed abnormal B cells detected but not enough tissue to confirm either way if it cancer or not so I see a thorasic surgeon in 2 weeks he's going to remove the lymphnodes so they can be biopsies thoroughly my doctor said she wasn't stopping till we get answers. It's scary for sure

I was diagnosed with a score of 30 for my PSA. . back in March of this year. The six months of tests and biopsy taken had really stressed me out.
I just had surgery to remove my prostate on Monday of this week. I get catheter removed this coming week. Doctor said that a majority of the tumors were successfully removed BUT the tumors on my left side could not be touched because I had scar tissue from previous surgery. When the catheter is removed I will also be seeing doctor to discuss my options for now or do I go another 6-months playing the waiting game and for the tumors to get larger.
It was suggested that I begin radiation treatment which has me stressing over that possibility and the unknown.

I completely understand as I don’t have anyone to talk to also. I’m a widow & I live alone. My oldest son died in 2021 & my youngest son & his family live 3 hours. My father is dead & my mother has chronic back pain & is immobile. My younger sister lives with our mother & she is going through a divorce from her husband who abandoned her. My sister doesn’t visit me, help me, call me & rarely texts me. I have various cousins, a niece & nephew that are spread out in nearby states but are hours away from me. After I told my friends I had cancer, they quit contacting me. I have learned how to be my own care giver. It has been very difficult. I’ll admit I’ve been depressed, cried a lot, felt sorry for myself but I never gave up. I prayed & read my Bible everyday. Then I found cancer groups online like this one where I could share what I was going through & got empathetic responses. That really kept me going. I hope you find someone to talk to but I highly recommend the online cancer chat groups.

Hello everyone,
I hope you're doing well.
This group contains many different types of cancer. Though you may have different forms of cancer, I think there is somewhat of a shared experience across cancer types in this forum.
Let's hear about you and your story! What kind of cancer do or did you have? How were you diagnosed? How are you doing now?
Feel free to share you story, your experiences, your advice, and support here!
