I am currently suffering daily to do anything and I mean anything. This chronic pain all over including muscle spasms is so disabling to me. Mentally and physically exhausted.

I understand. I'm same way. My spine is curved like a snake. The pain is horrible but I push myself to do some housework. The depression sets in and anxiety. We gotta stay strong! Soft hug to you from Louisiana.

@carolann529 I to have constant back pain since 2002. Take pain meds but a very low dose. My Dr refuses to increase the strength. Not his fault the government has his hands tied. I don't do anything I used to do. Was very active but now just try to get through the day. Just want to be able to go and do things with the hubby and grandkids. Am 72 and don't see any change in the future. Pain makes me too tired to even do anything. Guess this is as good as it gets.

@lolagracedevchris I was 47 when my back went out, now 67. Where did the last 20 years go? I rode motorcycles, surfed, went hiking, worked in my yard, tinkered on stuff. Now it hurts to walk or stand. My pain has literally sucked the life out of me. I make no plans because it's hard just to get thru the day. That's the sad part. it's like my brain is so tired managing the pain that there's no room for my brain to do anything else. Then there's getting all pain meds stopped because my back surgeon says I should be so much better. Wow, really? How about let me decide when I'm feeling better, pain free. Not yet!

Hello, I am in pain and my son lives in another state and started his family. I think it is great but, I do not get him to understand---I am suffering!!! Once, he said "I will take care of you"!!! Surprise, that is as far as it gets; a verbal suggestion and nothing more. I wanted him to call me once a day. I am feeling so sick and full of pain. I am alone since my mother passed away and that is terrible to lose someone you love. Never mind, the fact that she did so much for me. We did everything together!! Not just my mother but my friend!!!! So, I am alone and I do not want to make demands on my son. He was in trouble for the purchase of a stolen car. He spent time in prison and now that he is back home--he is a husband and a father (first) never mind a son!!!!!!!!!!! What should we don in that situation??? I am open for suggestions. I also what to say to Lizzi, MANY BLESSINGS IN YOUR NEW POSITION.

Hi, I too get thru one day, one hour at a time. After six back surgeries this last year with absolutely NO improvement with my pain, in fact worse! Now theyβve cut me off all pain meds leaving me to just suffer everyday! Now Iβm trying to get with pain management to help with the meds and what hoops they want me to jump thru! I have to prove Iβm in pain and prove to them that Iβm βworthyβ of some help. Our medical system sucks. Drs are all worried about losing their license. They bring that up every time pain meds are discussed. Iβm disgusted by the whole mess! I hope this email somehow encourages you! Youβre not alone! Thom

Hello everyone,
How are you doing today?
This is a difficult discussion. Managing chronic pain, balancing work, and taking care of family responsibilities can indeed be so overwhelming. Itβs completely understandable to feel like youβre trapped and carrying too much at once, like thereβs no light at the end of the tunnel.
Have others in the community experienced similar moments where they feel like everything is too much? How do you cope when the burden of physical pain and mental stress becomes overwhelming? Have you found anything that help you push through these tough phases?

Ambassador@Somya.P My neurologist gave me a script through the state dispensary for aid with sleep. It helps with sleep. The script is for low dose THC, so it aids with minor pain. I have learned through my trials of product that CBD gummies help with sleep, but not pain. In my state, CBD gummies can be bought at local corner stores.

@HelloKitty I started taking kratom when I was diagnosed with cervical dystonia, it means I have constant pulling of my neck and shoulder muscles. Botox is the primary treatment , 6 to 8 shots targeting muscles but its hit and miss. I told a friend about this and he told me about kratom, so I went to a kratom shop and talked to the owner. He learned I was an Army Veteran and sold me some capsules. Unbelievable the kratom knocked out the pain and relieved some of the spasms and pulling that was 5 years ago, and I am still taking it for chronic pain. I have found the vendors to trust and a fbook website to share experiences with others. Like all things kratom must be handled with common sense, and reading info on the web helps educate us all. IT IS THE ONLY THING THAT HELPS WITH MY CHRONIC PAIN

Yes I agree. Im on morphine and Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen and yours as well. I have some others also. If I want to work in the back yard, I am sleep mode if I set down. The next morning and at night is paying with great pain. Its a hard road in many ways. We have to keep going best as we can. Have a smile and good day to you. I have the stimulator too.

Hi -
I am struggling with managing both my physical and mental health. My pain isn'y new, but the burden of it + working + family its too much. I am barely pushing my body through and its too much to be responsible for anything else. I go through these phases where I get overwhelmed with it all and I don't see it ever getting better. I am just waiting for it to pass, as it has done in the past. One day at a time. but then again, everytime I reach this point, it feels impossible to make it through the tunnel.
anyone else?
