Thanks for the advice and encouraging words. I have thought about trying to paint again. I was no Picasso but I enjoyed it. I am working on healing. God bless you my dear friend.

Hi, I'm Zakk. I guess i'm just looking for some help. i'm not sure what can help anymore though. I'm taking antidepressants but they don't seem to help at all. Since i graduated high school i feel like my depression and my anxiety are getting worse. i've had them my whole life and i just want to hear some ways i can help myself.

@Tg1974 kicking my butt too. Been having awful sweats not sure if it’s premenopause (sorry for being graphic gentlemen) or my new trazadone that I started. Depression/anxiety stick. I try to read, usually walk., draw but difficulty time concentrating. This too shall pass 🙏

Hi everyone I’m Laila and I’ve been depressed since i was probably 12. I used to be such a happy kid and then I went through a lot of abuse and abandonment issues. I always blamed myself and now my depressions plus my other issues are ruining my relationship. I thought maybe talking to people who understood would help.
Side note: I am now 21

Hi Laila,
So sorry you have to go through this nightmare of depression. You are so young. I'm a Christian who suffers depression from bipolar.I need to pray more for the depression to leave.I will be praying for you, that you can meet people to help you.
Jesus please touch Laila's heart and mind and show her how much you love her. You know the pain she has gone through. She needs to feel you are real. Please show her signs that you are there for her anytime she needs to share her hurts. Amen

@Laila9902 I hear you, I think I was born depressed. Family problems also kept me from having many friends so sharing was very hard. I think due to my family I grew up not being able to trust anyone. Trying to rebuild but it seems impossible some days.

@rockin888 LOL I'm from New York so the word menopause is a dinner topic. It's also a complete change in body and mind, a rite of passage so no need to apologize.

@Francis66 Thanks so much Francis, do yourself a favor, take a blank canvas and throw some paint on it. Don't worry about being Picasso, just do a Jackson Pollock, get your emotions out on the canvas. It's job is to have paint thrown on it, or brushed on. Even if you make a bad painting you made something. You expressed. Art is a great therapy, it can show you what's going on way deep.

Good evening everyone. I've been depressed for 5 years since I lost my mom unexpectedly. I wasn't prepared for that. Since then I've had 2 more babies. So now I have a total of 4 kids ages 15-4. I never did grief counseling and it seems that anytime something in my life gets overwhelming I have crying spells. But lately it has been almost daily.
Help me please what should I do
