Hello members,
Heart failure, also known as congestive heart failure, results from when the heart does not pump sufficient blood to the body, as it should. There are certain conditions, like coronary artery disease (a narrowing of the arteries), high blood pressure, myocardial infarction (heart attack), and others, that can gradually cause the heart to fail and lead to heart failure.
It is important for individuals to be able to identify initial signs and symptoms of a underlying heart condition to take preventative or proactive measures.
