Hello @jilly58, thank you for opening this discussion. I'm sorry to hear about your taste and smell, that must be so frustrating to have to have it come and go like that! Let me tag some other members who may have experienced this as well.
Hi everyone, how are you today? Did any of you lose your taste or smell when you had COVID? And what about now? Does either sense seem to fluctuate as times goes by?

Take care,

I lost most of my sense of smell and some of my sense of taste when my diabetes progressed.

Hi,
I'm in my late 20's and I had COVID in October with a sore throat, fever, loss of taste and smell, etc. Since then I've gotten all my senses back, both my taste and smell. I had sinusitis about a month ago and for the past two weeks my taste has disappeared again. Well, not totally, but but there are some tastes that I can't detect very well, especially at night.
Has anyone else who has had COVID been through this? My doctor says it's just a left over side effect of COVID but I'm not so sure.
