Hello, I am new to this group and saw your post. 1 and a half yrs ago I went to the get an abdominal scan and they found nodules on my lower lungs. I was terrified! Started going to a pulmonoligest. A few scans and decided to give it 6 months and look again. After a year the nodules started breaking up. They are now gone!. Not all nodules are cancer. Stay strong and be positive!
Although after a year and a half another spot that wasn't a nodule had grown and it is cancer. Totally unrelated to the nodules.
Good luck !
Much love Jill ❤

Hello I am new to Forum , so this is my story, on Aug. 20 th , 2021 I took my Daughter ( she just turned 44) on Sept. 6th, to the ER because she had a Bicycle wreck and we thought she had a broken wrist and a broken jaw, well they came out to the waiting room and told us her wrist was just sprained and the bone under her eye was broken but they wanted us to go with them for some results , when they got us into a treatment room we was told that when they did the CT Scan they saw 2 lesions on her brain and was ordering a MRI , after that was done they came back and said they was wrong there was 3 on her brain and 1 on her lungs and they was admitting her , This was all on Friday by Sunday she was in Surgery for a Brain Tumor , they got out the bulk of 1 of the Tumors but had to leave some and the other 2 on brain , and the one on her Lungs , went to the Onocologist on Monday following her release from Hospital 1 week later and was told she has Stage 4 Adecarcinoma ( Lung and Brain Cancer) started Chemo 1 week later and has been set up for her first Radiation Treatment . This has been a whirlwind couple of weeks . I went through Pancreatic Cancer with my Dad 31 years ago and I have Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma but this is different THIS is MY CHILD. They told us No Cure Possibly 2 years maybe a little more or maybe Less. I just needed to have somewhere to get this all out . I am trying to stay Positive for her sake. But I sometime's feel overwhelmed. She has No Insurance but I did get her on Medicaid and have a case pending with Disability. It's dealing with her Hostility that is Wearing me out she is Mad ALL the time and Hateful. All we are trying to do is help her ,she say's she needs time to accept this I understand that but it's like she doesn't even want to fight, she just wants to stay in bed. Any suggestion's would help . Thanks again

I was bkessed. The Dr did biopsy first then 3 radiation within 12 days. I was tired almost for a year but chemo would have been worse.

@cbholder3 @Jukie043 Here iit is 13/4 years later and my CT Scan came back beautiful. One pulmonary module at 10 mm It has been stable since 4/27/2020 so I don't think it is anything to worry about. Survivor!

I completely understand as I don’t have anyone to talk to also. I’m a widow & I live alone. My oldest son died in 2021 & my youngest son & his family live 3 hours. My father is dead & my mother has chronic back pain & is immobile. My younger sister lives with our mother & she is going through a divorce from her husband who abandoned her. My sister doesn’t visit me, help me, call me & rarely texts me. I have various cousins, a niece & nephew that are spread out in nearby states but are hours away from me. After I told my friends I had cancer, they quit contacting me. I have learned how to be my own care giver. It has been very difficult. I’ll admit I’ve been depressed, cried a lot, felt sorry for myself but I never gave up. I prayed & read my Bible everyday. Then I found cancer groups online like this one where I could share what I was going through & got empathetic responses. That really kept me going. I hope you find someone to talk to but I highly recommend the online cancer chat groups.
