@Lucy5292 is that picture of your family? Is that who helps you and thus aids with you getting adequate sleep? Please feel free to discuss more in depth the purpose of posting the picture. Thank you.

I try to put myself on a sleep schedule - a time to go to sleep and time to wake up. I also try to wake up earlier than most so that I can prepare my day so that I can hopefully limit any stress from being behind in my needed tasks to do for the day so that no inflammatory response is initiated.

I’m still struggling with my sleep patterns, but I try to go to sleep early to rest the most I can.

Hi all, I have seen success in my sleep, some, since I started implementing these changes, but I am looking for some more advice and tips on how to fall asleep and STAY asleep.
I have started taking melatonin and magnesium abour 45 minutes before I decide to rest my head, remove TV from my room, put away all electronics when I do finally rest my head, and I also try to give my self about 5 minutes to clear my head and think of anything I need to before I close my head and make it time to sleep.
I would love to however, STAY asleep, because I still wake up frequently... can't seem to stay in a deep sleep.

I can't stay asleep either but my doctor told me to take my Melatonin 2 hours before bed and I try to visualize random pictures in my head but SEE it to meditate. I also use ear plugs and an eye mask.

I sometimes experience insomnia because of joint inflammation, this makes me more tired on the next day. Luckily, the problem has recently been solved when I begin to put myself in a sleep schedule and avoid electronic devices. Instead, I often read books before going to bed, this helps me feel asleep and have a nice sleep as well

Getting adeqaute sleep is essential to everyone; however, when adequate and sufficient sleep is not achieved, this can cause an increase in inflammation in the body - something that is not desired by anyone with lups. Therefore, what are some ways you ensure that you get adeqaute or sufficient sleep.
I am hoping this forum creates a discussion so that other readers can benefit from the different methods and ideas presented.
Thank you.
