Afternoon everyone
had an interesting conversation with my doctor, getting ready to get the second booster and he said, yes get it, however two of my medications I will have to put on hold for a week after getting the shot. They both are immune suppressant medications. So my recommendation is, talk with your doctor before getting any vaccine, as there could be issues with medications. What I understood is the the meds would lessen the affect of the vaccine, and not a big issue missing the medications for a week.

Yes, seriously considering the second booster. I'm 67 with no problems with any of the covid vaccinations thus far.

My neurologist advised me to get monoclonal antibodies. I have had three full doses of Moderna, but my body tests for no antibodies four month after receiving the vaccination. Got my health and the health of my loved ones, I got the antibodies.

My heart doctor advised me to not get the shots because I already have a heart condition problem and have had blood clots in the past. Those shots can make things worse. He told me people don't understand that we have an immune system that will fight any disease and if we still run into problems there are meds that will help without taking those shots. I take 5,000 iud of vitamin D3 a day and it's been over two years now and I still have not got Covid. I must be doing something right.

My cardiologist suggested and I got the shots and the first booster. I just had a fever and chills for a day. I was glad to get my shots. I have congestive heart failure, a fib, and a leaky left heart valve.

Hello everyone,
I hope you're doing well!
As you all may have heard, there has been discussion both in the US and in other countries about a COVID-19 vaccine booster vaccine to be potentially launched in the fall, as cases of the Delta variant escalate around the globe. The CDC has not yet taken a firm stance on necessity of a booster dose, as researchers are still gathering information and learning more about:
What do you all think about this news? If you were offered a booster shot would you go for it? Do you have any concerns about an additional shot?
Feel free to discuss here!
Take care,
Courtney
