I probably would just because I have one of those conditions that put me at a higher risk of catching covid.

I am proactively watching the developments and hopefully soon a direction of the CDC. Without proper knowledge on the subject of infectious diseases, I rely on what is most likely the most scientifically based resource. This is including their assessment of the under vaccinated regions in the USA and the world.

Hello everyone,
How are you doing?
Two weeks ago, the FDA amended the emergency use authorization (EUA) for the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine to allow for use of a single booster dose, to be administered at least six months after completion of the first two initial does for:
- people aged 65+
- people aged 18-64 years at high risk of severe COVID-19
- people aged 18-64 years of age whose frequent institutional or occupational exposure to SARS-CoV-2 puts them at high risk of serious complications of COVID-19
For now this only applies to the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, but may be opened up to other versions as more study is done.
What do you think about this? Are you eligible to get a booster dose? Will you be getting it? Do you have any questions or reservations about it?
Feel free to discuss here!
Take care,
Courtney

I am on an immunosuppressant that deteriorates my B-Cells. I need a B-Cell count or else my MS infusion will attack the booster. I am all for boosters and 3rd doses. I just got blood drawn and hopefully I will have a count to get the booster.

I am on the list at my pharmacy to get the booster in one arm, the flu shot in the other arm.

I’m afraid to get it because I know people who got vaccinated that multiple myeloma that got worse. Two people that I know that died from Covid both were vaccinated which really freaked me out. They were supposed to be a vaccine coming out next year I might consider

I have not felt the same since I been vaccinated. My blood pressure increased and my cholesterol. I get the chills all the time. I always watch what I eat so I can't blame my diet.

Hello everyone,
I hope you're doing well!
As you all may have heard, there has been discussion both in the US and in other countries about a COVID-19 vaccine booster vaccine to be potentially launched in the fall, as cases of the Delta variant escalate around the globe. The CDC has not yet taken a firm stance on necessity of a booster dose, as researchers are still gathering information and learning more about:
What do you all think about this news? If you were offered a booster shot would you go for it? Do you have any concerns about an additional shot?
Feel free to discuss here!
Take care,
Courtney
