I got the 3rd vaccine. I have a few underlying problems but my breathing/asthma was the strongest. I fully believe if I contract Covid , it will be a death sentence. Today I got my flu shot and still have to get my pneumonia shot. I’m more scared of the pneumonia shot than the covid vaccine.
That’s just my feeling.

I support it; I took the booster shot; the next day I felt i needed to lay down and just rest; felt run down, no fever, but really never felt that bad; it lasted for 1 day; i rested all day then the next day up and going; one note is while i felt run down then next day i worked but felt like i needed to go home and lay down which i did after work; my arm also was very tender with pain.

Will probably be required to take a booster since I'm getting ready for a TKR and the hospital will more than likely ask for it.

@dunecitymike I have a friend who was told the booster and flu shot need to be taken 3 weeks apart from each other. Please check with a health care professional before getting both on the same day.

@dan.varady The CDC has given the go-ahead to receive a dose of the coronavirus vaccine and other vaccines at the same time — a change from a previous recommendation to wait a minimum of 14 days between the different vaccinations.

Hello everyone,
I hope you're doing well!
As you all may have heard, there has been discussion both in the US and in other countries about a COVID-19 vaccine booster vaccine to be potentially launched in the fall, as cases of the Delta variant escalate around the globe. The CDC has not yet taken a firm stance on necessity of a booster dose, as researchers are still gathering information and learning more about:
What do you all think about this news? If you were offered a booster shot would you go for it? Do you have any concerns about an additional shot?
Feel free to discuss here!
Take care,
Courtney
