I am in the severe range now at 74 yrs old. I have found thru trial and error and getting older with SA, I sleep on my back because I can hardly turn to my side now. I also take 10 mg Melatonin. I didn't know it came in 20 mg! (Thanks ladyslipper 67) What has really help with my back pain, when in bed, is a large memory foam wedge. The large end is under my knees and my legs go down to the small end. It doesn't move when I sleep but then again I am not turning over back and forth. This takes the pressure off my back. I hope this helps someone.

My daughter was diagnosed with AK about 5 years ago. She has been on Humira since her diagnosis and was doing great. Unfortunately, during the last few years the Humira triggered Psoriasis and it started out being manageable but has gotten progressively worse -mostly on her scalp. (Humira is often used to treat Psoriasis - but in rare cases can actually tigger it.) She was just changed from Humira to Cosentyx in January. Her back is still doing great but she has been losing a significant amount of hair in patches on the top of her head. We just started Otezla in addition to the Cosentyx. Her rheumatologist and dermatologist communicate and are on the same page. Has anyone else experienced this and has anything worked on the Psoriasis?? Shampoos? Nutrafol? diet? We are open to suggestions.
