@Lizzyliz Hello Lizzyliz, thank you for opening this discussion. I've moved it to our asthma group so more of our members with asthma can weigh in. I'm sorry your friends aren't understanding of your illness. How did you treat your case of COVID? Were your asthma inhalers of any help?
Hi everyone, how are you holding up? Has anyone else experiences COVID-19? Has it also had an impact on your asthma like it has for Lizzyliz?

Feel free to share any thoughts or experiences here!
Also, if you haven't seen it yet, we've added a few new features about Long or "long-haul" COVID (when patients still have COVID-19 symptoms weeks or months after contracting the virus). You can add Long Covid to your profile to get access to our discussion groups and our upcoming medical fact sheet here: Add Long COVID
Take care,
Courtney

@Lizzyliz Ouch, I'm sorry you got COVID. How are you feeling? I've heard it's really hard on people with respiratory conditions like asthma. I think I'd be really scared to go through that. That's a shame you friends aren't understanding. 😔

My asthma has gotten worse bc of covid. I am more tired, breathless at times and depressed Some of my friends don't understand it. Very selfish people I have learned alot about my friends personalities after seeing their behavior toward me I will probably not see them or talk to them much ! Being still sick with my asthma after my quarantine is over some people don't understand why I am not all better! This disease doesn't work that simple Thanks for listening to me ! I'm sure many of you feel the same way I do Be well .
