I'm new here so please bear with me.☺️I was diagnosed with atypical hyperplasia of the endometrium and sent a.s.a.p. to an oncologist. She said I needed a total /radical hysterectomy . Well, this was last July 2020. Because of all the uncertainties with the Corona virus and in my opinion substandard care by physician, I STILL HAVE HAD NO TREATMENT AND IM FRIGHTENED AND MORTIFIED AT THE LACK OF CARE! PLEASE HELP WITH SUGGESTIONS?

Hello Mibella, sounds like you need to see a Gyn onc at a major cancer center. I was at a local onc office. For treatment. Became dissatisfied. I contacted CTCA. Cancer treatment centers of America. I went up there they ran their own labs and ct scan and determined I was NED. No evidence of disease. The onc wanted to continue chemo ! Not sure where you live but they have centers all over US. I live in Fla so I go to their Newnan Ga center, 🙏 you find the answers and treatment you need. Dar

I was diagnose with endometrial cancer on Friday, July 2. Everyone around me has been super supportive and worried but I find myself having a hard time accepting the diagnosis. I'm not even 32 and besides PCOS and hypothyroidism that was easily controlled, I haven't really had any major health problems. Everyone keeps telling me to be positive and not stress over things I can't control, I'm trying to do that but its always in the back of my mind, at least in those moments where my brain accepts the truth. I still feel like this is one horribly long, detailed dream that I will wake up from. I will soon be getting a scan on the rest of my body to see if the cancer is somewhere else and that is what is terrifying me more than anything, not the thought of a complete hysterectomy isn't terrifying. Is there anything that I can to do let my mind accept the truth and to stop it feeling like a horrible nightmare?

I am 38, about to be 39. I have premature ovarian failure and I am now considered post menopausal. Well after 4 years of nothing, I had a 10 day bleeding episode a few weeks ago. I am scheduled for a biopsy Tuesday and terrified of what will come back results wise. I am even more concerned that I will need a hysterectomy. While my husband and I do not intend to have children, we were told we could with an egg donor, so no longer having that option scares me. Hoping for the best here, but mentally preparing myself for a more difficult diagnosis. Any experiences similar to mine here?
