Thank you all for the great information and help. @russell I have recently invested in the book you recommended by Gretchen Becker. Very affordable on Amazon. I thank you all for your help!
@nomorenomore and @russell and @Israelvalencia how long did it take you all to really get a hold of your eating habits?

@BOILERMANt You sound angry. Yes, this is a battle. I say a little at a time > I have survived being septic - twice. As far as my diabetes, well, that better than being unconscious and waking up not knowing where the dickens I was. I woke up in a panic. The doctor didn't expect for me to last more than 2-3 days He had the nerve to tell my husband that. So every time you want to throw your food think about where you could be. I know it's hard and I have to eat the same ridiculously unseasoned food and can't have anything but unsweetened treats. That is someone turns their back. I'll have what I want but I don't want to get sick so I mostly obey. wish you peace

Hi everyone. I have just been diagnosed with diabetes type 2. I was pre-diabetic and now I am diabetic.
How long have you been living with this? Does it get easier as time goes on for you?
