@gottgetbtr I have tried CBD, but it did not do much help for me. I have recently started to try white and green kratom... seems to help more with my anxiety.

@depressedme hey friend, I hope you are well. I wanted you to know that I tried some green Kratom today and I Love it!
I have Lupus and I use CBD oil and THC as it is legal in Florida. I am in a bad flare. Went to the Dr and had to go back on Prednisone for a minute to get all the inflammation and swelling down.
My Dr is so awesome as we talked about the different types of therapies and medication and how we wanted to proceed.
So I said yes to the Prednisone and no to Plaquinil.
This time my symptoms were severe arthritic pain in my hands, elbows, knees, ankles and my vision as well. I have never had this much wide spread pain all over so we decided that it would be best to go on the Paleo diet. They actually have an Autoimmune Paleo diet!
We didn't go that crazy but I know it will be a huge help to my body.
So today, I bought some green Kratom and I absolutely LOVE it!
I had read about the headaches from the red so I did some research and decided to go with green. I have to tell you that it is working on my pain. Took it down from an 8 to a 4. It doesn't make you high but does work on anxiety YES! Being on Prednisone makes me shake inside constantly and I hate that feeling, green Kratom works for anxiety.
I hope this helps as I try to stay as natural as possible and stay away from as much medication as I can.
Have a wonderful evening and God bless 🙏.

@Jujubeaner have you tried CBD
@naturalremedygurl I am so happy to hear that green kratom worked for you! It has done wonders for me in regard to mood and anxiety. Did you purchase it through a store in Florida? There are some good online shops that have much better prices than most head shops I have been too ... and the American Kratom Association recently created new GMP guidelines and they publish the vendors that have met those requirements. i buy from only vendors listed there now.

@naturalremedygurl do you feel that the green kratom helped your pain more than the CBD and/or THC?

I have never tried CBD oil. I would never try anything with THC in it considering that smoking weed was how I developed panic attacks. I’m a retired LPN so I know what THC can do to you. CBD oil doesn’t contain THC. I use it for some of our foster cats but it doesn’t seem to do much. When I developed panic disorder I was smoking weed which contained THC. I have friends that are in the medical field and have asked for their knowledge on THC and other so called natural remedies to help depression, anxiety and panic attacks. Melatonin is one thing you can take. But every single one said that THC should not be a used in the psychiatric care of a patient. I’m not trying to debate anyone taking it. It’s not legal here in my state and I believe if someone wants to use it and it helps them then it’s up to them. I take Lexapro and I can use Klonopin when needed. I hope everyone is able to deal with this awful disease.

@depressedme hey y'all, yes, I use CBD almost daily, but I found green Kratom and have really noticed a difference both physically and emotionally/mentally. I believe I have a high tolerance for mostly everything so I start slow and track how much I'm taking and how long before I have to increase my dosage.
With the green Kratom, which I have been using for about 1 month now, I have not had to increase my dosage yet so for me, this is awesome and it is more cost effective.
Yes it does work for pain. The red has even better pain relief but I personally have not tried it yet, but is next on my list. One note, in researching Kratom, it should be noted that with the red, you may experience headaches if you use too much. You may also experience a heady feeling along with a jittery feeling.
Now having said that, my Dr. just put me on the Paleo diet as it is basic and you eat whole foods like a cave man. Sounds strange but I am feeling better!
So yes between the CBD/THC, Kratom, and choosing to use food as medicine. For me I want to be as natural as I can be without lab made medication.
I hope I have helped and if y'all have any more questions, hit me up.
I do apologize for not being able to get back sooner, but I am now taking care of my 92 year old mom. She has been ill for a bit but is getting better.
God bless ya'll and I hope to talk to everyone again soon.🙏

@Jujubeaner hey friend, I hope this message finds you well.
So concerning the THC Florida is a low THC state. That being said, THC effects everyone differently. Since you are an LPN then I'm assuming that you know the difference between the 2 types of THC.
Sativa gives you energy and for me, I have to be careful because some of the Sativa makes me shake inside and that is not a good feeling and can make you paranoid. I soon realized that I need the use the Indica as it calms me down as sometimes I can't turn my head off. So it truly is a learning process like the CBD, the THC and the Kratom.
Having Lupus for as long as I have and being on so much medication, that I wanted to have more options to choose from and have more choices in my treatment.
I hope this has helped. One last note, I was on opioids and they were horrible and decided to take myself off and choose something that I feel is better for my body. Everyone is different and needs to find what works for them. Keep exploring and hopefully you too will feel better soon.
God bless 🙏.

@depressedme hey again, thanks for the info on the Kratom. I'm definitely going to look those up but was wondering if you would be willing to share which ones you like using and why?
Thanks again and God bless 🙏

Does anyone use CBD for their depression? Do you notice benefits? How quick?
