i had to come off of this medication in December as I was so fatigued from it I was not able to do hardly anything. So weak and my eyes got so blurry. Within a week of stopping it I was much better. However it took sometime to recover from the fatigue. I hope this helps someone if you are having similar problems you may need to talk to your doctor.

I started Ozempic 9 months ago. At the time, I was a little over 200 lbs and was taking 1000 mg of metformin daily. Metformin had worked for me for almost 20 years, so I didn't expect that it had suddenly stopped working. For 3 years, I gained weight even though I worked out, and I thought it was just my appetite out of control. One random day, I realized my metformin was the problem. I saw a new doctor who prescribed Ozempic. What a miracle! 9 months later, and I’m down 40 lbs, my A1C dropped from 8.1 to 5.6, and I have virtually no symptoms from the drug other than fullness. The symptoms in the beginning did not last long either. Nausea, headache, fatigue...all cleared up within a week or 2 each time my dose was increased. It can cause what feels like constipation, but for me, it’s just that I simply haven’t eaten enough. This drug feels too good to be true. I’m so pleased with my experience so far!

To me, I find it tragic that Ozempic and the other semaglutide glp-1 agonists have reached fad/cult status, while Big Pharm is spending millions to suppress the peer-reviewed research that has been released showing what happens to users who STOPPED using those drugs, to say nothing of the research that has slipped through NOW exposing the complications that are surfacing for folks still on the drug(s). Sadly, I don't see any end to this or any other 'wonder' drug that promises weight loss 'instant success'.....not as long as we as a culture here in the USA are allergic to asking questions and finding natural alternatives, such as how Food is Medicine. Curiously by the way the company that produces OZEMPIC is headquartered in Europe, where OZEMPIC is prohibited to be Rx'd for weight loss, and only for the treatment of diabetes.

Was prescribed ozempic after the type 2 diabetes. My weight and numbers dropped. I was able to see good results. No nausea, vomiting, constipation, or other issues.

The cost of this medication is prohibitive. If you are a senior on a Medicare plan on insulin, you reach the “donut hole” very rapidly and the cost of the ozempic becomes prohibitive for seniors on a fixed income. The coupons around specifically say not for use if on a government plan. UNFAIR. The same goes for a lot of other drugs that would be helpful for seniors. We have to make choices. I NEED insulin but do not NEED Ozempic so I reach the “ donut hole “ rapidly. Also, I have COPD and the same problem exists with inhalers. Try fighting city hall.

My Doctor didn’t even prescribe me this medication, it was one of his associates!

I was at 7.8 that was down from 8.4 and that wasn’t goal for them so the put me on it and waited three months, the dose was .50 mg of it. I went down to 7.2 and though I was having explosive Diarrhea they wouldn’t take me off or reduce the dose, and because I wasn’t at the goal they wanted my dose was upped to 1 mg. I kinda got use to the side effects but my heart rate went up between 80 and 100 bpm. Im pretty sure it was because of the Ozempic.

i have lost some weight with it but I’m not eating that much anymore so not sure if it’s the medication helping or not. I know my morning sugars are in the low 50’s it scares me to be that low, so I have a piece of hard candy before bed to bring the numbers up.
