@Courtney_J I joined because of this, I had heard that we may be at higher risk. Does anyone have any information? The things I've seen seem to contradict each other.

@Courtney_J Thank you for this article, I take care of my dad who has high blood pressure and I've been worried about him. Fortunately he lives with me and I've been able to work from home and take care of him and keep him safe. This reassures me so much!

Hi everyone, been a few days so I thought I would check in with you all. How are you doing? Is the lockdown getting to you, or are you managing to stay positive?
Feel free to keep sharing how you're doing or ask any questions you're having here!

@Courtney_J
My depression is getting the best of me. Plus the weather doesn't help when you are depressed.

@Cynthia3467 Hey, are you feeling better? It's so easy for us all to feel down when we're cooped up like this. I'm convinced it's from lake of exercise/sun exposure like with seasonal depression. I know it's been doing a number on my sleep! What have you all been doing to stay busy?

Hello everyone,
In this difficult time for public health fueled by the coronavirus, it is important to be well informed about the health recommendations, especially when one is chronically ill and undergoing treatment.
For now, it is not exactly known how the COVID-19 infection affects people with hypertension. Some scientists have suggested that ACE inhibitors and ARBs increase the chances of severe Covid-19 infections, while others refute these claims citing lack of evidence.
Have you received any special instructions from your doctor regarding your care? Have you taken any specific precautions? Do you have any advice for others?
This discussion is yours to share any thoughts or questions you may have.
Take care,
Courtney
