I have been out of work since covid started....March 16th....my asthma is worse this year. Not at night but in the morning and during the day. Stress and anxiety will trigger an attack. I try to take a walk everyday and have to use my inhaler much more.

I haven't noticed it getting worse at night for me, but like Trish said with the anxiety and stress going around and having to wear a mask, I've been having more attacks.

I've been waking up at night a lot recently struggling for air and I don't know why it's happening. Has anyone had that happen like out of the blue?

Hello @restsound, thank you for opening this discussion! A few months ago we shared an article about nocturnal asthma that you may find helpful. You can read it here: Nocturnal asthma: What is it?
Let me tag some other members who can possibly share with you!
Hi everyone, how are you this morning? Does your asthma get worse at night? Have you ever experienced what restsound describes? If you do, what do you do to help it? Feel free to share here!

I've noticed as I've gotten older that I have more issues at night, I don't know if age contributes.
@restsound Have you changed your pillows or sheets or something else in your room lately? Maybe it's related to allergies?

I usually manage my asthma well but lately I have some personal things going on so I don't sleep well at night. So I've been having some pretty bad asthma attacks. Has anyone else been through this? I don't know how to get it to stop

I have had asthma since I was a teenager.(35 now). Its normally mild intermittent. But im have bad flares now. Had to call 911 few weeks ago and get treatment at er. I have been waking up at night sometimes. This is something that started month ago. I think either asthma or maybe i have sleep apnea. Im a deep sleeper and take meds at night. I have never had this problem before. Any else have this problem? If so what helps?
