@Mammaw49 Isn’t it crazy how much stuff ends up wrong with you after an accident.

@Mammaw49 A lot of your symptoms sound like mine, but I didn’t have a car accident. My damage was caused by a slip and fall at the grocery store. Then the trauma caused the fibromyalgia on top of the many things I have.

@6J0rdans sometimes I set and wonder is it in my mind. Then I see I'm not the only one with the same issues.

Hi, my name is Bessie. I had a slip and fall accident in February 2016. It caused a herniated disc, a bulging disc and a fracture to my L5 S1. I also now have fibromyalgia, nerve damage in my legs, and a degenerative spine disease called Spondylitis. I have had a lumbar fusion surgery after several opinions. I have tried spinal cord stimulators, physical therapy, water therapy. You name it. I’ve done it. They don’t understand why I still have chronic pain. Cold makes it worst. Heat give me a little relief from the pain. And I have to take pain meds along with it just to take the edge off. Nothing stops the constant pins and needles feeling. Not being able to stand or sit long is hard as well. I’m on numerous medications, because it has also caused anxiety and depression. On top of the many other things. I haven’t found anything that takes the pain away consistently or for good.

@6J0rdans I’m so sorry you can’t get relief from the pain. It seems like a lot of money and time is being spent on curing what ails us, but nothing seems to work. I also have chronic pain with depression . I’ve tried numerous meds and procedures that haven’t helped at all. In 2 weeks I have an appointment with the 3rd pain management doctor I’m trying. The 1st didn’t help, the 2nd told me the fix was medical marijuana. That was a joke. This new guy wants to repeat nerve blocks I’ve already had. He thinks the other doc did them wrong. I keep getting my hopes up then crash and burn afterwards. I’m sure you’ve experienced that too 😢

@PatOz7 oh I definitely have. I had a spinal cord stimulator. They did a trial run and I got some relief. Well I had the surgery to put it in, and it didn’t even help that much. I was so disappointed. I tried it for a while, and it still didn’t help. So I eventually ended up having it removed.

I have chronic pain due to a few different illnesses. Osteoporosis in both knees, DDD, Severe Lumbar Spinal Stenosis. I had COVID on December of 2020. This senty body straight into all of this.
Things that help are my meds..buepenorphine, gabapentin, Meloxicam. My tinge unit, heating pad, and at times. Rolling up on a electric blanket. Along with PT twice a week.
Having an amazing husband and family is what gets me though. I don't work, and am in bed 97'% of the time. Pain never stops. I do not let it get me down. It is what it is. Thanks for listening

Ambassador@Somya.P My neurologist gave me a script through the state dispensary for aid with sleep. It helps with sleep. The script is for low dose THC, so it aids with minor pain. I have learned through my trials of product that CBD gummies help with sleep, but not pain. In my state, CBD gummies can be bought at local corner stores.

@HelloKitty I started taking kratom when I was diagnosed with cervical dystonia, it means I have constant pulling of my neck and shoulder muscles. Botox is the primary treatment , 6 to 8 shots targeting muscles but its hit and miss. I told a friend about this and he told me about kratom, so I went to a kratom shop and talked to the owner. He learned I was an Army Veteran and sold me some capsules. Unbelievable the kratom knocked out the pain and relieved some of the spasms and pulling that was 5 years ago, and I am still taking it for chronic pain. I have found the vendors to trust and a fbook website to share experiences with others. Like all things kratom must be handled with common sense, and reading info on the web helps educate us all. IT IS THE ONLY THING THAT HELPS WITH MY CHRONIC PAIN

Yes I agree. Im on morphine and Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen and yours as well. I have some others also. If I want to work in the back yard, I am sleep mode if I set down. The next morning and at night is paying with great pain. Its a hard road in many ways. We have to keep going best as we can. Have a smile and good day to you. I have the stimulator too.
