@ermazapan Talk to a friend. I have 2 good friends who I can talk to. Trust me it really helps. 💝
My husband was tested positive. He was in a nursing facility because a stroke left him almost paralyzed.
I have him transferred to the hospital because they couldn’t deal and care for them with the virus. Because my husband was UnResponsive the ordered an MRI. TD called me last night telling me the MRI shown my husband had a recent stroke. When I found all this out I got my phone and call my friend last night.

I had breast cancer 3 years ago. I am so afraid. No physical signs but wonder if i still have it. Went yo psyc. They gave me antidepressants which caused a very very bad reaction. So they took me off and i am only on antianxiety prn. That makes me wobbly. . need good advice on how to deal. I was dealing ok with it when i could go swimming. It exhausted me and i got good sleep but that does not work anymore. How are you dealing with it and staying calm. I go to bible class and 5 ladies had it and are all calm. Why not me. Im scared and then being scared makes me more scared. Someone please help. I have so many friends who want to help and are so kind . Why cant i relax. Tell me your secret. Thanks.

I have been listening to soft, background music, like piano lounge music. I have been sitting outside a lot just listening to the birds and looking at Nature. I look at beautiful Art. I made an entire list of activities that make me feel good and calm me. I call this list my toolbox. I got the idea from someone I talked to on the Warm Line. I also pray nightly on the phone with my boyfriend. I also try to keep my sense of humor, and I do not watch the News.

@HawaiianLau Can I ask what your diagnosis is now? Might b a silly question if so I apologise. Well, maybe not so important, it sounds to me like you're dealing with a few things here. My name's Dan and I don't have many suggestions for anyone but I've found a few things that have helped me a lot. I started to be sick early last summer and I had no idea what was happening. Finally last October I had a real diagnosis. Lymphoma and 4 doctors missed it. Nobody's fault, just not as common as plenty of other things. Well, tests take time, one after another, I finally bottomed out Mid December of last year.., I'd always gone my own way, I didn't bother keeping in touch, not even my family. Traveling past few years mostly and often drunk/high. Well, I rented a room close to the awesome Caritas Cancer Center in Springfield MA which was fine but when I went to the phone I found that there was nobody left to call. Drunks really do burn all their bridges. Started on chemo late in the year, OMG I was terrified! Well, I'll try to keep this kind of short if I can.. I was so surprised to see that that I was feeling a little better after maybe 2 weeks of chemotherapy thank God! I quit the booze, went to AAA meetings when I could find rides. Now I'm doing really good (thanks God again) after 4 1/2 months, this chemo will be done in 1 1/2 months and looking very good.. Tumors shrinking, maybe on track for real remission and so glad! Ok what I did? For a while I went about 1 hour at a time, was all I could handle really. AA wisdom but true! When I felt awfully sick I rode a bike that I'd sent for online it made everything a little better. Or walked a lot. I'd almost lost touch with my awesome brother, I can't believe how great he's been! Comes up from CT just about every week and he acts around me just like he always did. Meeting others too here, I don't know why I'd lost so much faith in everyone but I guess that's because I'm still sober.. One more thank God here! Making a good move end of the month, I'll be in MA for a while then back home to CT... For good! No more traveling for awhile, time to settle down. My faith in people coming back.. And faith in something greater than me, It's weird, I don't want to drink, it would kill me with chemo happening but this is not the reason really. Life is good, remember this! I can''t wait to get on with feeling alive again, working again likely, riding bicycles a lot of things..It's been a while for sure. Don't feel alone. You're not. Anyway, have a great day...

Hello everyone,
During this Coronavirus pandemic, many of us have been advised to "social distance" ourselves, limiting contact with strangers, friends and even in some cases, family. No more trips to the movies, the mall, the gym, or any of those other things we love to do.
We may be "stuck" at home, but let's not let it get us down!
Here are a few little ideas to help you keep busy while social distancing at home!
Take advantage of this time to:
What will you be doing while staying at home? Do you have any tips or ideas for activities? Share you thoughts or ideas below!
Take care,
