I am alive today. I am grateful for that I just have this big emptiness inside. Disconnected from the world around me. Mechanically making my way through the day. Empty. Pained, saddened. Sorrowful - that is the span of my emotional capabilities

I am grateful for being alive and my health . Especially having sleep apnea being on the machine changed my life dramatically. I stay safe during covid . Keep my mask on when I have to. It's easy to get comfortable around crowds not wear a mask . Even around family gathering . You just don't know. I'd rather be safe then sorry. Some people just get covis just like that . You never know whether you believe it or not . The same with the flu . We probably are not as conscious like we are with covid . The flu makes younsick , depending it can be deadly to some. I worked in hotels for over 25 years in the restaurant I've seen people who would sneeze use their hand then go to the buffet. They would get mad when I address then about it. I saw alot more and have been playing it safe before covid. Using sanitizer wipes etc for covid(did not use mask then) . In general people are nasty and don't clean their hands when they cough or wipe their nose yet wash their hands using the bathroom I've seen it. Bottom line I just play it safe ( not paranoid)) it you think your immune from anything flu, covid, whatever as long as your out in. Public and you touch doors handles machine etc. You can contract anything in the high risk areas and your not exempt from being healthy . We lost a triathlete from covid ...mind you triathlete. Just stay safe people. 🙏

I am feeling pretty good. I am so glad. For the past 5 days my husband and I have taken at home covid tests. We may have been exposed to someone in our church choir. Results have been negative so far. I am so glad for that.
I seem to have more energy this morning - even though I live in Ohio and it is a cloudy day. I was able to get a few more things done that have been on my "to-do" list.
I am bothered about something. I wanted to pay the hotel bill for a friend for her Christmas trip. I made arrangements with the hotel on how to pay the bill. The friend is back from her trip - but I have not received a itemized statement from the hotel. I asked her about it. She is really mad at my now, She thinks I don't trust that she can take care of her own affairs - and that I don't trust her. I think she said that she paid the bill with her credit card. I am so confused. I have texted her back trying to explain my feelings about this matter.
I feel better typing my feelings out about this matter. Time for me to take a deep breath and get to the affairs of the day.
