So I'm introverted by nature, however I am terribly missing the interactions I do have with those selected few people I enjoy. I have to admit that I don't practice social distancing 100%. On a daily basis I do practice it about 95% but that 5% puts me at risk x's 10 with my underlying issues. Will stay in touch and would love to hear from the rest of the community.

Hello everyone,
I want to first thank all of you for joining the discussion and sharing how you are feeling, good or bad. I've said this before to many of you, but I think that it's important that we continue to talk together and lean on one another to get through this difficult time.
Sending extra positive thoughts to those of you who are struggling through treatment or illness currently and to those who are or who have loved ones who are critical workers. If we all stick together we should get through this!
Second, how are you feeling today? I'm feeling refreshed from the weekend where I got out very briefly into the nice weather. How was your weekend?
Here's a video that warmed my heart this weekend:
See people clap for health-care workers worldwide battling the coronavirus, The Washington Post
It's so moving and inspiring to see the world coming together to support our healthcare heroes! Have you heard people applauding the healthcare workers near you?
Take care,
Courtney

It's a definite struggle for me. My A1C was 13 and I've got it down to 8. This lock-in is making it hard to stay on task. All I want is to eat and I eat when I'm depressed. I'm trying to concentrate on school work as I'm a college student as well. I just can't find any motivation. We've been locked in for 3 weeks. I KNOW what I need to do but doing it is a struggle and it's so stupid! This is my LIFE we're talking about but I can't get my head out of my butt.

@mskramarz7 I felt really bad when I left my first full infusion too. I had to take shorter strides and use walls for support way more than usual. Things got better for me pretty quickly, thought it might have just been the benadryl or something. Hope your fatigue let's up soon!

OK, so this must be where I add my 2 cents worth to the discussion. I'm tired and need a haircut not just a side and top trim. Longest my hair has been since 1970. Looks like it might be another 3 months yet or maybe even more. I have been staying up most nights and sleep during the day. My wife has her own weird sleep pattern and doesn't give me any problem with it for now. I made Amish Cinnamon bread this morning. Later I will make Memorial bread for the celebration on Christ's death on Tuesday. Neither of us partake of the emblems but since we are observing it ourselves at home while tying into the meeting line on ZOOM we thought it would be nice. Otherwise we just pass the emblems at the Kingdom Hall in a normal setting. This year is nothing like normal for the entire world. My wife and I have been making face masks with our limited supply of materials. Making elastic out of some Spandex material and might start making string ties to go completely around the heads. Gas prices are down so that's a plus when I do finally go out and buy a tankful of gas which should be soon. weather is good. Arthritis not hurting too bad. Taking Kratum to help with Neuropathy and leg pains. Looking forward to this ending sooner than later. Once it does I will travel to my mom's place in NC to put on a new roof which has been in the planning stages since last Fall. Yawning again so heading back to get some more sleep. Thanks for letting me vent.

@Mkdavis1002 Thanks for commenting! I can definitely relate to wanting eat when I'm feeling down. It must be a hard adjustment having to do your college classes at home versus being able to get out and go to class with others. That's great progress on your A1C, thought! Keep it up! You can do this!
@Bonycells Thank you for sharing! I think you're not alone on needing a haircut, I suspect there may be more than a few members needing a trim right about now! Mmm, you may need to share some of those recipes with us, that sounds delicious! I shared a recipe today in our Coronavirus: How to keep busy while social distancing?, but it was nothing as delicious as that! Feel free to share in that discussion if you're up to it! Glad your arthritis is feeling better.
Keep it up, everyone, it's so great to hear from you all! I think sharing how we feel during this difficult time is quite cathartic.
Take care,
Courtney

Hello everyone,
How are you doing today?
Today I have a video for our sports fans! While most sports' seasons and coverage have come to an end because of the pandemic, sportscasters are still keeping busy!
Watch the hilarious way sportscasters are passing the time while they're out of work:
Sportscasters Are Narrating Daily Life Tasks During COVID-19, NowThis
This made me laugh, maybe if I narrate everything I do like this, it will make things more fun!
Take care,
Courtney

Hello Courtney and others,
I feel pretty good today. Like most days that I feel this way because of working towards graduating and basically a loner type of person.
It is hard at times when I do desire & seek out my friend(s) but, I get it.
You just have to make due.
Don't forget, the computer helps you to reach out. Remember when we didn't have them or access to them?

Hello everyone,
I've opened this discussion so we can share our state of mind during this period of isolation!
Let's come here everyday to share how we're feeling!
What is the best way to stay positive and keep your spirits up?
If we come together as a community and support one another, the time will fly by!
Here's a video that made me smile today:
Feel free to share anything that makes you laugh below!
Take care,
Courtney
