@tessgheith can I ask how old you were when you found out you had bipolar? I found out when I was ten. I am now almost forty and I struggle so much with my highs and lows. I'm on six different meds I have caseworkers, but I feel done. How do you feel with bipolar?

@Truint40 Don't mind me for jumping in- I found out when I was in my late twenties (I am now 55). It took a while to get diagnosed and it felt like forever to find the balance of meds needed to keep me 'stable' I am so tired all the time worrying about it & living with it. I have been "done" with it for a while now....but luckily still here just chugging long. Wish I didn't have to live with this burden.

@magicpamela I'm sorry you feel this way. I've been taking meds since I was ten I am now 40. I hate it. I have to follow diets to keep the weight off. Some days the meds don't seem to do anything I get into mixed episodes. I've now been diagnosed with schizoaffective which is a whole new hurtle. I hope you find peace. If you want to email me feel free. I haven't been on here in months. truintandcompany@gmail.com

I try to stay connected to people and groups with similar diagnoses. I get lonely sometimes and I'm always tired. I don't know if it's a part of the disorder or not.

@JamieShaw I think it could be from the disorder and also the meds. It depends on the person. I sometimes feel tired all the time. It stinks…

I don't have a healthy response for this answer. Like you said, it's characteristic of us. Not, however, does the rest of the world suffer from this. It is definitely helpful if you have bipolar friends or friends and family that totally understand the disease. I just am always friendly and the negative is I have found out I don't think I quite need as many people as I did before

Hi friends from a country far away I would like to ask people who suffer from bipolar disorder how they succeed in bearing loneliness, that, unfortunately, is a characteristic of our disease. Thank you
