@BarbBollman I get that. Mental health can't be grasped by normies. I'm high functioning bipolar 1 with severe depression and anxiety with severe PTSD. When I'm triggered or go into an episode I go off the rails and people generally think I'm on drugs or something other than an emotional breakdown. I'm the last ten years I've had maybe two episodes of mania and live with the depression anxiety and PTSD everyday but just continue to grind through life. People will never understand what we go through until they have their own issues and still give the "you don't know how I feel". I'm sorry they don't understand but know those of us that have the same diagnosis understand and are here to talk. Hope you have a good day.

I had big problems at work (more so then usual) I I had a heart attack then put into the hospital for depression. When I got home I got a conference call from my boss and all supervisors telling me I could quit or get fired. I told them I wouldn't quit that I wantef to come back they let me come back but it didn't work I couldn't handle it. I got nervous. I cried. Shaked. I finally had to let the job go because they brought me back into the office. It was my last chance. After I left all the people I thought were friends quit talking to me. That left me with one friend that I've had since high school but she doesn't call or text me. I always have to get ahold of her. It sucks and ver loney. I can't even talk to my husband because he'll say "just when we start doing good you go into a depression, that's just great" That doesn't help.
So I do under loneliness and I'm sorry your going through this. I hope you feel bettier.

Hello, I really needed to respond . I know your post was a long time ago. I just felt s feel for you after reading it. How are you feeling now? I worked part time for many years. For over a year I work full time. It is a difference. I am more tired. I don’t trust people at work. I have a lot of trust issues also. I have a very few friends. The two or three friends I have are very great friends… I just hope you are feeling better. Take care . If you ever want to write me, I will listen.

Few friends and most think I am a pia and get to point they don't call back. I get the just when you get better something happens so I can relate. @Morckster yes, that is why I'm so thankful for this group and the others I'm in. So I can talk and feel I have people to talk to that understand me and don't judge. It's great!!

I also live the same way and trying to find ways to be around others not easy with anxiety and trust issues, I make many excuses.

I try to get involved in community service that way I've always got someone to talk to, But it's difficult if your shy like me and I try to maintain my anxiety by being a people pleaser and that can be harmful as well but I can't help it it just seems so normal to me.

Hi friends from a country far away I would like to ask people who suffer from bipolar disorder how they succeed in bearing loneliness, that, unfortunately, is a characteristic of our disease. Thank you
