Hello,
For symptoms... you name it, I get them: rashes, fatigue, pain, ulcers, brain fog, and dry mouth, fever...
I try to mitigate a flare as best as I can. I force myself to do moderate exercise regularly which seems to help with my fatigue and also take naps. This both seems to help with brain fog also. I take medications for the rashes and pain. I also wear UV protected clothing most of the time and a hat and try to avoid exposure to any UV type light.

I was diagnosed with lupus 2 years ago. My symptoms were swollen joints and joint pain. As time goes by my symptoms have gotten worse. I have been getting really bad night sweat that I have to change my shirt at least twice a night. I wanted to know if anyone experience night sweats is this from lupus ?? And if there is something I can do to stop the night sweats it’s horrible.

@Ochoar I get the night sweats to. Its horrible. Also have a rash all over my arms and back and stomach. The spots burn and itch all day long. Nothing helps with the itching. Have you had the night sweats the whole 2 years??

Yes I have had night sweats since the beginning but not as bad as now that I have to change my shirt. Also I get itchy rashes all over my body specially on my legs I mix Vitamin E oil with my lotion and that helps a lot or Vaseline. Have you tried oils maybe that will help with the itching

@Ochoar there is something to help with the rashes it's called betamethasone dipropionate cream 0.05% Use very sparingly it also helps with vasculitis if you don't know what that is your lower legs itch like crazy and nothing works to stop it this is the only thing that works and yes lupus causes this too.my doc wanted me to take steroid pills but I am diabetic and it drives my glucoses levels up.The only thing I can say dealing with 4 chronic illnesses is take and live every day to the fullest get a nap and keep agood outlook on life.

I was diagnosed in 2013 and since then have had fatigue , headaches and joint pains. I have just developed the rash that is physically and emotionally wearing on me. It’s getting worse on my face , my chest and back are covered. Doctor has given steroid injection and topical cream but not much effect. My ankles are swelling more than ever before. Kind of feeling depressed.l about all of this. I have to work and feel embarrassed. Emotionally and physically exhausting 😔

@Ochoar I have never experienced night sweats. Is this a common symptom with lupus or is this being caused by another condition> Interested in knowing more.

Common lupus symptoms include headaches, fatigue, swollen joints, and fever. However, lupus symptoms can come in a wide variety and vary from person to person.
As the symptoms can vary from person to person, so can the prescribed medicines and alternative forms of treatments and medicines individuals use to mitigate the symptoms.
Please share the symptoms you experience and the methods you use to mitigate them
Also, feel free to comment and ask questions to others!
