@Courtney_J I am frustrated right now. I’m actually coming off of Metformin and am down to 500mg 1 x a day unless my blood sugar goes past 150. I am confused. What do I eat? My blood sugar drops low I eat and it gets to 150 and I feel horrible. What do you eat and how do you eat to get your blood sugar to be stable all day? This is very confusing and frustrating to me.

It is easy, high healthy fat, low proteins, very low carobs. Eat Eggs, Whole cheese, Bacon, butter one piece rye bread.
Next Meal, Fish, Beef, Lamb, Shellfish, leafy vegetables, whole cheese , tomato's ,olive oil, coconut oil. nuts and berries in moderation.
Eat every meal until you are full, no snacks, if you are hungry eat more fat during the next meal
Take 1000 metformin with twice a day.
This will reverse your insulin resistance and you can get off th e metformin within a few months or so.
This is 100% effective and although your doctor may not tell you this, he will agree with it 100%
You can cure yourself.

@redbone5335 thank you! I’m down to 500 mg 1x day Metformin with the goal of coming completely off. Just was having a hard time getting a good diet to keep from the ups and downs. Amazing but my body is healing itself on its own! Thanks😁

For me definitely it’s restrictions relating food. And all the time I need to be conscious about food choices. I diagnosed Diabetes last year. I haven’t share it with friends so all time they insist me to eat junk food. And they keep saying that I’m to conscious about weight n all. So in that situation it’s quit difficult to stay firm on food choices. Second most frustrating thing is fatigue and low energy. As I lost 16 ponds of weight and in starting very strict about diet but afterwards I enjoy some food sometimes. When I enjoy food then after that I feel fatigue and low energy. It’s super frustrating when you are not able to do the things what you love to do. Your mind and your heart want to do but your body doesn’t support.
But still I’m proud that I’m doing very great. After Diagnosed I didn’t went to any doctor. I attended Diabetes management webinar by Indian Dr. Pramod Tripathi. And I did all the changes and I’m managing my blood glucose without medication.
when I diagnosed my HBA1c was 8.3. And after 6 months it reduced to 5.9 without any medication. I think that’s remarkable.
if anyone wants to know about how i did this then just message me I’ll be glade to share.
And one thing I did this with vegetarian diet. I’m from India and I’m vegetarian.

@Mrubalcava…you don’t want to get very low blood sugar. My mom almost died from that. It does not allow you to eat anything you want. One cookie and your blood sugar is no longer low. It’s dangerous to get much below 70. Talk to your doctor, he should explain how diabetes works, it’s not simple.

I'm actually asking a question/concern about my very close friend who is Type 2 Diabetic- he lives in the UK and our relationship is long distance- I notice he will get very moody at times, and "go off" on me, and this will happen "all of a sudden "- I support him totally in his Diabetic journey but when this mood strikes- I get really upset with him- is the sudden mood swing common in someone who is Diabetic?

Some sufferers do not realise how their personality has changed and affects everyone around them.
If they don’t take care of the condition and it is type 2, they are usually the ones who had the lifestyle choice that caused

To me the most frustrating is my blood sugar levels. I have to take prednisone and that can raise your blood sugar even with diet. Other medications cause this as well. Stress also keeps your sugars high. I have conditions, leg ulcers that create problems with diabetes. Sometimes you need more than one insulin.

Hello all,
How are you doing?
Type 2 diabetes, like most chronic conditions, can challenge aspects of life or make one feel frustrated. I thought today we could talk about those challenges.
What is the most difficult or frustrating aspect of living with type 2 diabetes? Is it related to your diabetes care and management, or is it related to something external? Is it the lack of support or understanding from others, the need to closely monitor blood sugar levels, the need to watch weight and diet? Feel free to share here!
