Hi ,@Chachadepapel, thank you for opening this discussion! What interesting news!
Have any of you heard of this? Do you think it would make diagnosing bipolar disorder easier or quicker?

I hope it works so we can weed out the ones that aren't. I'm still questioning if I have it and I was diagnosed at age 18 I'm now 52. I am a big denier of my diagnose. I do what I'm supposed to do because I do fluctuate, I still question to this day. What I mean by weeding them out is I go to my doctor and therapy and all the people there say the have bipolar. I'm just tired of it. Doctors have to put something down for insurance reasons. I'm not sayingk they all don't have bipolar but all? And there's alot.

Whether it works or not, when will a blood test for autism be developed?

I was reading online that some studies have found that it might be possible to detect bipolar disorder with a blood test. Apparently there may be some kind of factor in our blood or something. Maybe it will make diagnsosi and treatments better one day. What do y'all think?
